Client's request

Agricon sought a solution for a high capacity woodfiber production on its new facilities in Balen. Available raw materials were mainly wood residues. The project required an efficient and compact solution that integrated with existing machinery while maintaining high production standards and minimizing environmental impact.

Challenges

  • Noise pollution was a major concern, requiring measures to reduce operational sound levels.
  • The project involved implementing a new version of the compact Fiberbeast and integration with the existing compact machine.
  • Updating the existing compact Fiberbeast woodfiberline to the new version
  • Limited available space and intergration with existing buildings

Our solution

To address Agricon’s needs, Fiberbeast provided a custom-designed production layout focused on efficiency, integration and sustainability. The solution included:

  • Installation of two compact Fiberbeast woodfiber lines, installation of a new version of the compact fiberbeast woodfiber line and updating the existing compact Fiberbeast woodfiber line to the new version.
  • Acoustic boxes and noise reduction materials incorporated into the machine’s construction to minimize sound emissions.
  • The new Compact Fiberbeast Woodfiber lines with:
    1. Lower maintenance requirements, reducing downtime and operational costs.
    2. Enhanced wood fiber quality, ensuring a superior end product for various applications.
    3. Increased machine availability, optimizing production efficiency and output.

Through this tailored approach, Agricon successfully expanded its wood fiber production while ensuring a quieter, more sustainable, and cost-effective operation.
