The Fiberbeast washing line makes it also possible to consider product streams that are contaminated with metals and stones. Metals and stones are washed out of the product stream in a continues process.
With a clarifier water treatment smaller and heavier particles like sand are removed from the water flow. The heavier particles sink to the bottom of the clarifier and the cleaner water at the top can be reused. With this clarifier wastewater from the washing line can be reused and reduces the daily flushing out of dirty water to a minimum. The clarifier gives you a lower ecological footprint.
The Fiberbeast washing line gives you more flexibility in raw materials to have a lower cost in raw materials and for a more ecological product.
The Fiberbeast infeedhoppers are specially engineered for mulch, forest residues and other materials that are difficult to transport or to dose.
Ferro metal removal (optional)
Ferro metal removal eliminates iron-based contaminants, ensuring a clean product, protecting machinery from damage, and maintaining efficient processing.
Non-ferro metal removal (optional)
Non-ferrous metal removal extracts contaminants like drinking cans, ensuring a clean product, protecting machines, and enhancing processing efficiency.
Screen for fines/oversize (optional)
The optional screening for fines and oversize before the washing line gives you the possibility to use residues streams without pre-screening at another installation. Oversize needs to be removed to allow good product flow and the removal of fines will reduce the needs of waste water flushing and the needs for clean fresh water.
Washing process
The product stream enters the washing basin, where an upstream of water causes stones and metals to sink, while wood stays afloat. Lighter pieces are carried to a conveyor belt for removal, while heavier items are removed by another conveyor belt.
Water treatment
The water in the washing line becomes polluted with sand and other substances. To maintain clean water, it is flushed out, passing through a filter conveyor belt to remove particles larger than 1mm. In a clarifier, smaller particles are removed, allowing for water reuse. Daily flushing is still required but can be minimized.
Transport
The final product is efficiently transported to the output box using a flexible and reliable transport system, minimizing material loss and ensuring a smooth production flow.
